The Near-Death Experience (NDE) has gained a wider public interest over the last 30 years.
Since the publication of Dr Raymond Moody's "Life after Life", the phenomenon is more and more regarded as genuine, but little progress has been made on its understanding.
Physicians and scientists who take seriously the accounts of those people who went close to death (or not, actually), and met with the light, are growing in number and value. They do challenge the rest of the scientific community to step forward - no "new paradigm" is even needed – into a better scientific understanding of human consciousness and nature.
NDE and related phenomena are major sources of meaning and sense for those who experienced them, but everybody can learn from the "lessons from the light".
For the first time in France and Europe, a major public event dedicated to the NDE brings together Dr Raymond Moody and the best European specialists in the field.
